I am playing 2 as a sentinel now, to get the best of both AND using Reave as the added power.
Enjoying it so far.
Best play of 2 was as a sniper, never used cloak, but sniping was loads of fine. (fun)

In 1 the adept is OP. But in 2 the pistols are useless and my powers don’t work on non red bar enemies. On insanity all enemies have armour/barrier/shields, so a group of husks becomes a nightmare. My fav class is still the engineer with assault rifle bonus, because you can smack everything, and the drone aggros enemies like boss.

Basically only warp works on barriered/armoured enemies, no effect on shields. None of the other powers work on them until said crap is removed. Being the masochist I am I’m doing an insanity run, so ALL the enemies have some sort of protection. Plus they are squishy as hell. On lower difficulties Adept would certainly be powerful, but I’m just past horizon and the boss fights are on par with Dark Souls in terms of the dodging and planning I have to do. The crashed freighter mission (with the mechs) took me like 30+ attempts, because 1 Loki mech can take me out if I’m not in cover.

Yeah, our border collie, at 6 years, is starting to show signs of age already. Shame. He is awesome. Smart enough to bark at the right times. If a delivery guy comes (which is often, we buy 80% of groceries online), he sees our interaction and is cool. Stranger comes, he watches but wary.
Dog training is also the key, of course, something I learnt the hard way with this dog. Ended up at dog school: I think I learnt more than the dog.
