Bastion from Supergiant games is the first title available in Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade – and it looks fantastic. It’s an action-RPG featuring with an anime aesthetic that features beautiful hand-drawn HD artwork. Beyond its obvious beauty one of its hooks is that it features “dynamic narration†where the wise old man with the raspy voice will change his delivery of the story based on every player action and interaction, giving you the effect of creating the magical story.
The game notched up the Game Critics Award for best downloadable game at E3, and it’s easy to see why. See for yourself in its launch trailer.
Bastion releases on Xbox Live this Wednesday for 1200 MS Points, with a PC release to follow.
