DAMN

This is it folks: The penultimate roster reveal for WWE 2K16. Next week will mark the final look at just who’ll be stomping mud-holes through candy-asses. This week, is another dosage of pure 1980s and 1990s nostalgia. We’ve got the best there was, the best there is and the best that there ever will be in the form of the excellence of execution himself, Bret Hart.

We’ve got a stable of brawlers, that you may remember as THE NATION…OF DOMINATION that includes Farooq, D-Lo Brown and Kama Mustafa. And if you’re a fan of Mick Foley, well good news: Not only is Mankind in WWE 2K16, but so is Dude Love and Cactus Jack. BANG BANG!

Here’s the full list of week five roster reveals, as well as their fancy exploding background portraits:

  • Billy Gunn
  • Bret “The Hitman” Hart
  • Jake “The Snake” Roberts
  • The British Bulldog
  • Mankind
  • Dude Love
  • Cactus Jack
  • Farooq
  • D-Lo Brown
  • Kama Mustafa
  • Christian
  • Damien Sandow
  • Shane McMahon
  • Vince McMahon
  • Haku
  • The Honky Tonk Man
  • Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart
  • Ken Shamrock
  • Paul Wight
  • Rikishi
  • Shawn Michaels
  • Vader
  • X-Pac

I still think that Shane McMahon was responsible for some of the best matches that I’d ever seen in a WWE ring. Shane O’Mac’s legendary fight with Kurt Angle during the King of the Ring tournament, that saw him German-suplexed through a sheet of glass, will always be one of my favourite moments in the history of the WWE. MY GOD KING!

And then you’ve got Mick Foley’s trio of characters, which range from bizarre to baffling. Although to be honest, I always thought that the idea of Stone Cold Steve Austin forming a tag team with the hippy-themed Dude Love, was brilliant.

That’s it for this week then. As I said, next week is the final reveal. And I’m hoping that Eugene is one WWE performer that we’ll never ever see again.

I see Brett and Bulldog. I haven’t checked the last ones but have they got Owen so I can relive the Hart Foundation?

Everyone is hoping Owen is revealed next week. There doing a dvd on him but his widow has generally made the call that he can’t be included in stuff like this. But with the dvd there’s a chance. So let’s hope he’s there.
