Darksiders 3 (3)

Looks like the release date cat is out of the bag. Only this cat happens to be a Horseman of the Apocalypse, armed to the teeth with a chain whip that can easily rend flesh from bone and is looking to reunite with her fellow brothers of the end times. THQ Nordic has officially announced Darksiders III, which will star Fury as she tackles the Seven Deadly Sins who currently plague a battered Earth that has barely survived the apocalypse so began so many years ago in the original Darksiders game.

No, not those Seven Deadly Sins, anime fans. Here’s a quick rundown of the story as well as the special editions that’ll be available on November 27 for Darksiders III when it arrives on PC, PS4 and Xbox One:

Darksiders 3 (1)

Players return to an apocalyptic planet Earth in Darksiders III, a hack-n-slash action-adventure where players take on the role of FURY in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. The Charred Council calls upon FURY to battle from the heights of heaven down through the depths of hell in a quest to restore the balance between good and evil and prove that she is the fiercest of the FOUR HORSEMEN. FURY is a mage, her form evolving throughout gameplay and with it, her powers and weaponry.

The expansive Darksiders III game world is presented as an open-ended, living, free-form planet Earth, dilapidated by war and decay, and overrun by nature. FURY will traverse back and forth between environments, battling other-worldly creatures and unlocking puzzles while advancing the Darksiders story.

  1. 400 dowla !!!! The Apocalypse edition looks sick… but you would have to be sick to drop 400 big ones on a game, but I suppose at least it actually comes with the game for that price.

I would happily drop R5400 on the Apocalypse Edition, if I had the money, but I don’t, so I will have to settle with the game on Steam!

You, too?! Man, I’ve been struggling to. Not because it’s tough, but just because it go so long-winded and boring.
I’m all for long games, but man, at least make them interesting all the way through.

1 was abandoned a long long time ago. Same issue as 2, gets boring near the end.

2 wasn’t that great. Loved the whole grinding and open world thing but the ending had me hypothetically throw the controller at the screen after many hours screaming: THAT IS IT??? THAT IS THE ENDING AFTER ALL THE HARD WORK!?

Yes, yes it is. Lol, I am probably going to buy a house next year here in George, and I am going to have an awesome Geek-Man-Cave! Warhammer 40K, gaming related merch, board games and D&D! Since I am #foreveralone I might as well spoil myself with preties 🙂

You should totally commission an artist to do some super cool stuff on one of your walls.
Some sort of kickass mashup scene from various games, but with your face featured in there somewhere.

Great idea! And different things on different walls! 40K Grey Knight with my face somewhere in there, some WoW stuff, Geralt (or rather Yen and Triss), D&D stuff! The options are endless!

If you were closer to PE, I would have put you in contact with one of my mates who is (and this is understating it a bit) an AMAZING artist. Who also loves all things geek.
I’ve commission him to do artwork for my novel, but the guy is SO busy, it might be another year before I see anything.
