Dead rising 3 PC

I saw some rumours yesterday that said that Dead Rising was coming to PC, but now it’s official. Capcom has announced the game is coming to Steam – but can your computer run it? First up, here is the announcement trailer showing off the awesome combinations and ways of mowing down tons of zombies:

Character textures have been upgraded as well as backgrounds and various objects. As usual on Steam, the game will get cloud support, achievements and trading cards. Of course, your PC will have to be up to scratch in order to do so. What is required? Minimum System Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 7 64bit Edition
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 running at 2.83GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 945 running at 3.00Ghz
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 570 or ATI Radeon HD 7870
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Hard Drive: 30 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX 11 Compatible sound card
  • Additional Notes: Broadband internet connection is required for Co-op play.

Recommended System Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 7 64bit Edition
  • Processor: Intel Corei5-4570 CPU running at 3.20GHz or equivalent AMD CPU
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 2GB or ATI Radeon 7970 2GB
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Hard Drive: 30 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX 11 Compatible sound card
  • Additional Notes: Broadband internet connection is required for Co-op play. An Xbox 360 Controller for Windows or other Xinput-compatible controller is recommended for this game.

I can already hear some of you moaning about exclusives and how this game was supposed to be purely for Xbox One. However, this could be in line with the closer collaboration we’re hoping for between Xbox One and PC – it’s not as if the game is coming to Mac or PS4.It does, however, make the Xbox One just that little bit less desirable. Are you guys excited to strap some random stuff together to make amazing MacGyver / “boer maak a plan” weapons and vehicles? I hope this means that more “exclusive” games will become available to the PC master race, if only to make them stop their whining. The game is coming to Steam during Northern Hemisphere Summer, so we can spend our South African winter killing all the things.

And here I was contemplating buying a XBOX One because DR3 would never come to PS4. Thanks MS. PC FTW!

jy weet, ek vind dit snaaks dat die minimum vereistes so hoog is, dis nie asof die Xbox een so veel krag het nie… maar nee, kan dit self nir nou hardloop nie, maar my beoogde opgradering sal kan…. 🙂

Sounds especially weird when comparing to the recommended spec. There’s not much of a difference between the two.

Dalk is dit weer ‘n Wolfenstein: Die Nuwe Orde tipe situasie…. Dis die minimum, vir 1080p, 60 RPS…

But does it also work with an AMD? I mean, I know AMD isn’t as powerful or well designed but surely it will?

I don’t understand why people would complain about exclusives going multiplatform. How is it a bad thing that more people can enjoy the game that you love? Now you can talk about the same game that your buddy was unable to play till now. So the PC guys get a port – which they’ll complain about for years – and you get it on the system it was originally intended for. How is that bad for you?

Because the PC Masterbaters think that all developers should focus on making games just for the PC as it’s DA BESTEST

The AMD rep made no year estimate in that article, just “it will be shorter this time”.

In that case it confirms what I have been feeling for a while…. If gamers want society to take them, and gaming in general, seriously they should stop acting like the children that society believes them to be.

YES!! Happy news on a Friday. I have to say though. The recommended specs are a bit nuts… Luckily I fall somewhere in between.

It seems like Microsoft understands that if they cannot only compete with the Xbone they can use the existing PC user base that is already on Microsoft software. I also saw that there has been a big upsurge in migration to PC over the last and new generation as more casual gamer’s have seen the pixel pudding & immense library on offer for the PC environment.
