Def Jam Rapster Full Tracklist Revealed – Too Gangsta

Def Jam Rapster comes out early October, which is very soon, and I feel not enough people are kicking up enough of a fuss about it. Its a game where you get to rap, to legit rap tracks, then upload it to the Internet, so your friends can tell you how baller you are. How isn’t that GotY 2010?

You have a week or so to head down to the shops, buy a bandana, a pistol, get some tattoos, and smack around women in a totally manly and heterosexual way. Don’t forget the bling for when you’re arrested and you release your debut album for prison. If doing that is good enough for Slick Rick, its good enough for you.

Want some Wu-Tang? Done. How about some Public Enemy and 2 Pac? Sorted.

2 Pac – “I Get Around”
50 Cent – “I Get Money”
A Tribe Called Quest – “Scenario”
Beastie Boys – “Brass Monkey”
Big Pun – “Still Not A Player”
Biz Markie – “Just A Friend”
Busta Rhymes – “Put Your Hand’s Where My Eyes Can See”
Diddy featuring The Notorious B.I.G., Lil’ Kim & The LOX – “It’s All About The Benjamins (Remix)”
DJ Khaled featuring Akon, T.I., Rick Ross, Fat Joe, Baby & Lil’ Wayne – “We Takin’ Over”
DMX – “Ruff Ryder’s Anthem”
Dr. Dre featuring Snoop Dogg – “Nuthin’ But A “G” Thang”
Drake – “Best I Ever Had”
Fat Joe featuring Terror Squad – “Lean Back”
Ice Cube – “Today Was A Good Day”
Ja Rule featuring Ashanti – “Always On Time”
Jim Jones – “We Fly High”
Kanye West – “Stronger”
Kanye West featuring Jamie Foxx – “Gold Digger”
Lil’ Jon – “Get Low”
Lil’ Kim – “Crush On You”
Lil’ Wayne – “A Milli”
LL Cook J – “Mama Said Knock You Out”
Ludacris – “Stand Up”
Method Man featuring Mary J. Blige – “You’re All I Need/I’ll Be There For You”
Nas featuring Diddy – “Hate Me Now”
Nelly – “Hot in Herre”
Notorious B.I.G. – “Juicy”
Notorious B.I.G. – “Big Poppa”
Onyx – “Slam”
Outkast – “So Fresh, So Clean”
Pete Rock & CL Smooth – “They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)”
Public Enemy – “Fight The Power”
Public Enemy – “Can’t Truss It”
Redman and Method Man – “Da Rockwilder”
Rob Base – “It Takes Two”
Run D.M.C. – “Run’s House”
Salt-N-Pepa – “Push It”
Slick Rick – “Children’s Story”
Snoop Dogg – “Gin and Juice”
Soulja Boy Tell’em – “Turn My Swag On”
T.I. featuring Rihanna – “Live Your Life”
Twista featuring Kanye West and Jamie Foxx – “Slow Jamz”
Wu Tang Clan – “C.R.E.A.M.”
Young Jeezy featuring Kanye West – “Put On”
Yung Joc – “It’s Goin’ Down”

Above sarcasm aside, I cannot wait for this with a track list like that. Aside from the really peculiar Beastie Boys track, its covers the rap scene superbly.

I think you have your Def Jams mixed up. This isn’t the fighting game, its a rapping one, a la SingStar.

Surely not mate, the 2nd one expanded on the 1st immensely. I think you’re thinking of Def Jam Icon, now that was crap.

That’s depressing, I really thought it was another fighting/grappling game. I guess, I’ll be avoiding this one.

Wow. What a preposterously offensive, utterly white, overtly racist article this is.

Way to use your small amount of voice to show that hey, not all nerds have advanced beyond the kneejerky, bandwagon-hopping, rap-hating stereotype. All the bullying you got in high school was utterly well-deserved, you closed-minded embarrassment.

Oh, and the game is called “Rapstar,” not “Rapster”. In addition to being a meme-dropping, unoriginal, unfunny asshole, you’re also a shit journalist! How’s it feel?

Sir, I believe the correct term you are looking for is “parody”. If you read the bottom of the article, you would have seen I am genuinely excited about this.

Thanks for correcting me on the title though, thats my bad.
