DMC4 looks better on the 360, but…

Gamespy.com was given the chance to play Devil May Cry 4 on the PS3 and the 360 and in what is turning into the norm they have said that the 360 version just looks that little bit better.

However that is no the the end of this story, even though the PS3 version doesn’t look as good they do agree that it is more fun to play on the PS3. Why it that?

Argue however much you will; after five and a half years of hacking, slashing, and shooting demons, we and millions of gamers are very accustomed to the feel of the PlayStation controller, be it Dual Shock 2 or Sixaxis, for the DMC experience. Our gripe with the Xbox 360 demo is that the controls feel too directly ported over to Microsoft’s controller, and it’s not a good ergonomic fit

Granted you can argue that you can just change the controller layout… But for now the PS3 is the winner 😉

I don’t know that’s a pretty weak argument? the controlls are ver similair if you think about it? maybe i’m just not understanding what they’re going on about? then again I’ve only played DMC, on PS2, once…

I’ll get the 360 version and never know the difference?

How is the control “better”, left analog to move, right analog to move camera. FOr 360 owners it feels more natural to have the left analog in line with the face buttons. So how can it be “BETTER”?

I presume its personal taste or simple experience by playing the same PS3 game for months until this one is out.

well years actually seeing that PS fans have likely been using that shape of controller since the PS1.

What’s weird is that it almost seems like the writer of that article is almost wants to imply that they didn’t implement the input code right on the 360, when all he means is that he prefers the sixaxis. Fanboi !
