telkom-xbox-telskom-faceplate Hellkom.co.za (an anti-Telkom website) has created quite a fancy faceplate for the xbox 360 offer that Telkom has.

While the local community has an understandable general dislike for Telkom, I have to say that I am happy to see them in some way supporting the local gaming industry.

Granted they may only be doing it to line their own pockets but the bigger the community the stronger our call for official Xbox Live.

The previous hopes of Neotel charging in and saving the day have all but vanished and the realisation that we are going to be stuck with Telkom forever is starting to sink in.

So we might as well make the best of a bad situation and start hassling Telkom more to organise local live.

There are also those constant rumours about Telkom Media using the Xbox 360 as its set top box, which would obviously do absolute wonders for the gaming culture of the country.

Hopefully if this comes to pass the Telkom faceplates will be the right way around as well 😉

It was created by Hellkom.co.za to mock Telkom. Which is why it is upside down (I think), I don’t think they thought people would think it looked so cool 😉

But remember guys. If you use your bandwidth for gaming you’re “abusing” your line. This was most definitely a joke on hellkom’s part.

as much as I hate telkom, i must admit that i actually LIKE their latest doBroadband ad. The one where they rip off WWII shooters. It’s hilarious.
