Well, even the fastest amphibious vehicle can only reach 45mph, from my house to this gathering it’s roughly 7881 miles. The vast vast majority would be by water, so we’re talking (again, rough estimates) 175.13 hours of travel time. That’s provided I could get a shadow boat to carry enough gas for the amphibious vehicle that I don’t own lol, and figure out a way to refuel the vehicle, while in motion, in the middle of the ocean.
Of course, this also assumes I’d be in motion for 24 hours a day, for a little over a week…I HAVE stayed up for 168 hours before…but not 175, and I definitely wasn’t driving a car/boat at that time 😉
I’m not sure this is the most convenient method of traveling to South Africa from the US.
