Dragon Age: Inquisition has a solid spot on my personal list of top five most anticipated games of 2014. It looks like it’s going to be huge, stunning and well designed. This latest bit of concept art coming out of Bioware shows off an enormous environment with hints at something to do with the elves.
This is the tweet from Bioware:
“Here lies the abyss, the well of all souls. From these emerald waters doth life begin anew.” pic.twitter.com/5mlaRiBVG0

This same image was posted over on Facebook, with the quote:
And thus was mighty Arlathan cast down, its people swallowed by darkness—never to rise again.
Does this mean that we’re going to see the fallen city of Arlathan? Will that be one of the elven plot points? It looks beautiful, and the quotes are certainly teasing some sort of interaction there – perhaps to help restore the elves to their former glory? Over the holidays they tweeted out some other concept art that’s worth seeing:
“And their bones shall spread across the land, the remains of an empire lost to folly.” #DAI pic.twitter.com/Hwd8ci7dTV

This one was also posted on Facebook with the quote:
Beneath their feet, the footprints of the Maker, and all around them echoed a vast silence
“In places untouched by the feet of Man, in shadows unspoiled by the fires of Right.” pic.twitter.com/79VtkRRehI

The Facebook quote for that one is:
In the Arbor Wilds shall we find them, a land unclaimed by all save harsh and unforgiving natures.
It’s worth noting that the Arbor Wilds are bordered by the Dale, so perhaps this is yet more reference to the elves. We know there will be the full range of playable races in the upcoming Dragon Age – I wonder if this is to build on the elf backgrounds. Now, show me some Qunari awesomeness, Bioware.

It’s ok to purchase a good game from EA. Wallet voting. Don’t buy day1. Wait to see what it’s like. Then if it’s good. Buy it. No shame in buying something if it’s good. Even if it’s from EA

No I’d wait at least a year because of DLC & microtransactions. But I’m guessing it’ll be Origin exclusive which irritates me, & I doubt it’ll be on a good special for a long time. So there’s a good chance I may never get it.
But that’s okay, I have a lot of other games to play & I’m far FAR more excited for Witcher 3.

If Origin can just incorporate the function to back up your games like steam does. I do have a jippo way of backing up but sometimes it is a mission. Origin can drive me up the wall sometimes.

I know you have been hurt. Bioware that could not stand up against EA but then again, their big heads left Bioware and we all know why so they probably tried their best to fight the Dark Lords ….
I will be buying it, I just have to because I love the story so much.

I’m not hurt. I’m one of the few people who quite enjoyed DA2, I’d have no real hesitation in buying 3. What I don’t like is EA & their contempt for, & milking of, customers.

Don’t rush development.Don’t release on time and don’t let EA screw you around Bioware! This game is the last chance at redemption so better make it count.
