Duke The game pretty much everyone’s been waiting the last 12 years for finally has a release date! That’s right folks, Duke Nukem Forever, once a mere myth and the embodiment of vapourware has been resurrected by Gearbox and will be getting a stateside release on May 3, with the rest of the world getting it on May 6. Yes, this year! Stop rubbing your eyes. You are not asleep and this is not a dream.

As a bonus, the trailer shown to PAX attendees last year has now been made public – and it’s a trailer that’ll make those of you played the original game feel like teenagers again. Trailer after the jump.

Thanks to everyone who sent this tip in.

I have my reservations on how good this game is going to be but there isn’t a thing on this planet that’s going to stop me getting a copy…

The game won’t be able to suck, it’s Duke Fcking Nukem. The gameplay may be mediocre but who gives a shit. Even a HD remake of DN3D will kick ass.

Duke’s so damn awesome he makes me want to swear in each Fcking sentence I type!

I’ll buy this no matter what.

PC version of course – that’s where Duke lives.
