E3 2016 – Day 3 wrap up: For Honor, The Last Guardian and more!

e3 2016 bad boys

And that’s a wrap – E3 is done and dusted! It’s such a bittersweet moment actually. Alessandro and I are happy that the madness is over, but at the same time, we both agree that we miss it already. The event really was a fantastic experience, and definitely one of my favourites as a gaming journalist.

What made the whole conference even better was the company we had. For the entire trip, we shared a room with some amazing bozos who work for a competing publication that rhymes with shmeh-shay gamer. We like them so much in fact, that we invited them into our wrap for day 3 of the show.

Damn that guy holding the mic, hijacking the show as if it were his own! At least the bearded chap had manners. He also happens to be extra lovable and cuddly.

Anyways, what did we get up to? I got to play The Last Guardian, which was really surreal. Not because the game was phenomenal mind you (thanks largely to wonky controllers), but the mere fact that I finally got to experience some of, after seeing it revealed so many years ago – yeah, that was so cool.

Alessandro got a tour of the Ubisoft tour, and he seems rather happy with all he played. He still swears by For Honor (which he played last year too) and insists that it’s a title people should keep their eyes on.

Now that the show is over, we have huge plans to go partying. Wait, did I say party? I meant head straight to murder motel to get cracking on content.

I’d suggest you keep your eyes firmly fixed on the site over the next few days. We have a lot of content on the way, including previews, hands on stuff, and oh my gosh even more previews. Stay tuned!

  1. Are you really going to miss it? You’re always talking about how “kwaad” you are.

The guy second from the right looks exactly like that actor from Cold Case and Law & Order. Danny Pino is the actors name. Freaky.

I don’t think Garth can not mention his beard, ever. And rightly so…
