EA currently favouring the Xbox 360

A representative of EA Games has come out and stated that they are currently giving preferential treatment to the Xbox 360 version of its games.

This is not suprising since the 360 still has the biggest installation base and earning potential. However what is suprising is that they have come out and stated this. You can slice this any way you like but when the biggest games developer in the world comes out and says that they will give preference to your competitor it really hurts.

He also went on to say that in the previous generation the PS2 version of games where given preference for the same reason.

Basically its all about how quickly EA makes money of its franchises. This is quite a serious blow to Sony who will as usual play down its importance.
