EA doing the Wii U afterall

Remember how EA said the Wii U is crap and they won’t be building games for it?  Well, time to backpedal!

Blake Jorgensen, EA’s CFO, said at the Stifel Nicolaus 2013 Internet, Media and Communications Conference

Electronic Arts is developing games for the Wii U, but not as many as the company is developing for Sony and Microsoft’s consoles

While he wouldn’t comment on which console he believed would lead the next generation, he said that they are building titles for the Wii U, but nowhere near as many as for PS or Xbox.  He also hinted that EA will follow demand – consumers will decide the direction the company takes regarding console development.

So, was there some backlash against EA for their Wii U bashing? I hope so.  I learned long ago to never write off Nintendo – like killers from horror movies and big bosses from RPGs, just when you think they’re dead, they come back even stronger.

It’s too late to backpedal, Sean Bean is already dead. He always dies so early.

After the Xbox One reveal, the Wii U looks all the more tempting.

At this point EA is at the top of my shit list.
I am skipping titles with the EA name on them just t avoid this company.

Too much for in mouth syndrome going around these days.

Damage control from EA but honestly their focus is not on the Wii U so Nintendo can just suck it, 😉

Stories like this shows just how fickle gaming sites have become by spreading rumors based on rumors based on rumors #stayClassy

Not every game that EA makes runs on Frostbite and that should have been picked upon earlier.
