Tetris

Remember the good old days when EA were the hated corporate monolith and everyone was supporting the Activision upstart? Well those days may be returning with what must be the biggest rip off I’ve ever seen in the land of gaming.

EA has just released a new version of Tetris onto the iStore for the standard price of $0.99 so what’s the problem?

The real problem is that it’s $2.99 a month, yes every month or if you want a discount you can pay $29.99 for a years worth of Tetris fun with the T-Club.

But what do you get for this horribly inflated price apart from being part of an exclusive club? Well according to news reports you get the pleasure or dropping blocks as well as access to exclusive discounts and content… so in other words give them lots of money and they’ll give you a small discount on something else.

Oh and wait it also tracks total lines cleared so you can compare yourself against any of your idiot friends who also forked out $2.99 a month for a copy of freaking Tetris.

If any of you actually decide to pay this you’re officially banned from commenting on the site, okay that’s not true but it should be.
