Seeing that the athletes from the MMA are on the other side of the planet from me I feel safe in saying that I really do not see this as a sport.
Yeah there are rules but the general idea is the knock the living crap out of your opponent using all means necessary. Which is pretty much just bar fights in your swim suits.
But that’s not to say that it doesn’t look like a whole lot of fun even if the graphics need a bit of polishing, check the trailer after the break to see what I mean.

I really was not all that impressed. GFX really need polishing, and the teaser didn’t show me anything new and exciting. It’s already been well documented that this game is merely a cash-in kneejerk reaction by EA after the massive critical and sales success of UFC Unleashed. A game they outright refused to make for Dana White (UFC President) numerous times.
We haven’t really seen if they are going to copy UFC’s gameplay mechanics, or come up with on their own. So at the moment, that coupled with the lacklustre gfx, means that the only thing this game has going for it at the moment is the big name of Fedor Emilianenko.
