What the world needs right now, besides more lawyers, accountants and marketers, is a new World War 2 game. I mean, that genre hasn’t been tapped at all, has it? Here’s the latest trailer for Enemy Front. Achtung baby.
Enemy Front, a World War 2 video game which once again tasks you with giving Fritz the ol’ one-two uppercut of Allied superiority will arrive June 13 this year. It’s been a long slog to get the game finished, ever since the project saw Stuart “Bodycount” Black departed.
That vacancy led to Enemy Front being reworked, for the CryEngine 3 powered Axis-stomper. Following the escapades of American war correspondent Robert Hawkins (No relation to Zoe), the game takes place after the Blitzkrieg of Poland, with Hawkins fighting alongside the Polish resistance movement, culminating in the disastrous Warsaw Uprising.
You can go in guns blazing or choose a stealthy method in this game, which looks like it has pinched a mechanic or two from Sniper Elite. The CI Games developerd shooter will be out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

WWII is the subject of such great potential, many smaller battles was never shown and the others were in too much. The company is Polish, so they want to show the events that took place in Poland. For people who enjoy games like these it is good news. It seems to me that soon will come a game about a war between Pepsi / Coke, since goat simulator recently came out. You have to wait a little longer;)

I don’t know why people tell this trailer looks so bad. Graphics is not most important thinks in game. In game like this most important is storyline and history. But it’s only my opinion. I think Enemy Front will be first game with Warsaw Uprising so it’s new part of world history. For me this is very nice information, I waiting for this game.

Yeah! KitKat I agree with you. I believe this game will be worth to buy it. For me two FPS games (Enemy Front and new Wolfenstein) will be most snapped up in this year. I hope in June I will have enough time to try in Enemy Front all of this looks awesome combat style in practice.

Hopefully EF will launch the return game of IIWW. I agree with you, for a lot of modern shooters. Only that once again it was not so that we bury only Gharm of IIWW as it was a few years ago. A worthwhile balance. But it is probably difficult. Ehh well that June will soon 🙂

I think that if the Enemy Front succeed other producers want to come back on WWII in their games and that not will be nice. I want to balance but don’t think it can be possible. We will see after Enemy Front release date.

I hope this does not happen, because the market will once again plenty of games on this subject and once again get bored. Enemy Front brings a lot of freshness, I’d like to keep it that way, but I guess as the game is successful, other companies will want a copy. but nevertheless there’s no running out much in the future, expect your game, we’ll see what will be later 🙂

If the game bring fresh good ideas, all new developed game will probably copy this or maybe a part of this. But nowadays we can see that even a one developer cant make a defference, I hope that this will be CI.

I’ve heard rumors that we have to choice four kind of multiplayers but personally definitely seen information about type. Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch these kind of multiplayer will be for sure.

I think Enemy Front not will be a simple shooter. This will be tactical game but everything depends which combat style we choice. So everything is open and everyone cay go different way to finished this game.
