Ten teams registered for week 1 of this independent Dota 2 tournament in the hopes of being the best and winning R1, 500 in cash. While Energy eSports have won three matches, Matt’s FUN Buddies a more casual team have won three as well. Their one loss however puts them two points shy of the top spot with Energy eSports.

How does their scoring work? Do you lose points for losing?

2 points for a win in the winner’s bracket, 1 point for a win in the loser’s. Points are awarded as if it were a RO16 to teams that did not lose their 1st game. This can be seen by Energy eSports and Rocc Dota2 getting 2 extra points and aura and EquinoX not.
