image Eurogamer has given us their first impressions of the upcoming oddity for the PS3, LittleBigPlanet.

What is really nice about this preview is that they finally actually explain what the game is actually about.

LittleBigPlanet is a side-scrolling platform game. It lets up to four players, online or local, romp through its knockabout assault-courses and mini-games in a happy scramble of competition and co-operation

Done, was that so hard that no other publication could say it?

Anyway he does go on for another 2 pages explaining how great it was and that the presenters got so enthralled with the game that they pretty much forgot about the room full of press.

Click through to read the whole thing. I am looking forward to giving this a bash myself.

it’s gonna be big… and best of all… it might just be a console selling game! it’s something that the ps3 needs in order to catch up with the xbox… I know I’m getting it with a lil help from my circle of friends so now we can play this at a braai or get together 😛

I think that’s exactly what they’re going for. Something as social as Brawl but less violent, for which I commend them. We need a lot more non violent content, I’m tired of gore for gore’s sake.
