Evolve evac

I feel like I’ve been writing about Evolve for a year. Well, that’s actually probably about right – it’s been almost a year since I first got my hands on the game and started raving about how much fun I had. I’ve been keeping up with the various monsters, hunters, modes and other details. But if you haven’t, this video is for you.

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past year and haven’t heard any of the Evolve hype, here’s a trailer just for you.

For those who refuse to cave to YouTube’s demands, here’s another link where you can watch the video.

I am amped for the game to release and for everyone to finally see what the fuss is all about. I’ve been playing a very very recent build on PC and noticing a whole bunch more that I never had time to see in previous previews. I’m enjoying aspects of progression and development in new ways, and learning some different strategies. Of course, I also have some new criticisms, too.

Have you been following along with Evolve all along? Are you excited for the game, or are you waiting until it’s launched to hear more?

Playing it locally, I’ve been impressed by the netcode. Even on my awful iBurst line, the game is smooth. Of course, I tend to play as the hulking monster, so it doesn’t really matter about pixel perfect accuracy. It’s all about spamming my abilities and killing all the things.

It’s good to be the king.

Now that I see how the campaign would work it seems viable to get. The loss/win outcome is a really nice feature.

If enough people are gonna be playing this then I will be obliged to buy it as well. It’s just the SP that still worries me.

Looks boring and will get boring real fast. Not worth full price. No lasting appeal. Doubt people will still be playing this after a few months. And the AI is going to suck. Get bored playing with stupid AI. I bet offline was an afterthought.

I have zero interest in Evolve and not buying it will make me happy. Buying this game and experiencing even a little lag, will just fucking upset me.

I understand that there are people excited for this game and people like you who wants to see it do well. But there has to also be a negative point of view. We can’t just have positivity. This game is not for everybody.

The voice of the offline people doesn’t really get represented online. Hence why it seems that online multiplayer is the future.

I have to say I’m also a bit worried about the game.. absolutely loved it playing on LAN but I’m worried about how well it will work in real life.

The way the games matchmaking works seems to be very good though which gives it a good chance at being successful

Never ask a question on the internet. Rather tell people what console they will get it for. Then you will get a reaction.
Like obviously people will get it for the PS4. 2 people will get it for Xbox One. And the PC people will get it after a year through Steam holiday specials when it costs $5.
