Rod Fergusson is the epitome of a person with ants in their pants at the moment, with the amount of moving he’s currently doing in the gaming industry.
Rod is most famous as being the producer behind the critical and commercial success that was Gears of War and was based in Raleigh, Carolina. However after the Chinese bought into Epic Games Rod decided his time at the studio was coming to an end and he announced that he was leaving.
Shortly after leaving he joined up with Irrational games in Boston, with the express mandate to refine and finish Bioshock Infinite that was currently in development there.
At this time I expected him to stay with Irrational for quite a while but as soon as Infinite was ready Rod made the announcement that his work at Irrational was done and he was now leaving that studio as well for futures unknown.
Well that unknown future has now been clarified as Rod has confirmed that he is now starting a new studio under the 2K umbrella in the San Francisco Bay area.
Apparently he will be working on an exciting new project and that’s all we have right now.

I jut picked up Fifa 14, will play it for the first time on a PS3 and not a Xbox since 2005!! Really hope that the guys can turn better than the horse in Red Dead Redemption did on PS3!! Ooooooo, I am so exited right now!! Like a 12 year on Christmas day!!!

Yesterday I told a colleague of mine Fifa 14 was pulled due to huge glitch found. Wish I had a camera to capture his face as it fell. Apparently I am a convincing liar.

Being jamming Fifa 13 on PS3 for a year now. Got me a Geoteck controller that mimics the Xbox layout and triggers. Enjoy your new game 🙂
