We reported the other day about the glitch players had found in Fable 2 pub games that allowed players to make tons of money really quickly. Peter Molyneux – the games developer, confronted the issue by saying that the glitch was there intentionally and that people who had abused it would see this reflected in their character in fable 2. Well it’s an awesome idea, and not unbelievable, if you take into account Molyneux’s attempts to push the boundaries with fable 2. Yet I still had my doubts when I read the story.
And now they are patching the glitch and resetting the Fortune towers leader boards. So I wonder if it was intentional in the first place. They have however allowed all of the players who exploited the system to keep their ill-gotten wealth.
It’s going to be interesting to see how the exploit is reflected in the characters in fable 2. Considering you start as a child and from what I’ve read and heard about the game your choices as a child are not as serious as when you grow up, so players may still have a chance to redeem themselves.

I’m sorry, but from the get-go I thought that was a load of
rubbish. There’s no such thing as an “intentional glitch”.
