Bethesda games clearly felt that the recently unveiled Fallout 76 was too much of a big deal to wait for later, and the game was showed off briefly on Xbox’s E3 2018 stage. Tod Howard himself walked onstage to cheers, and proudly announced that Fallout 76 would take place in a world four times larger than that in Fallout 4. Players will emerge from the titular Vault 76, to rebuild “hearts, minds, and, ultimately, America itself.” The trailer briefly highlighted some new enemy types, and a couple of new weapons and armour. No mention was made of any rumoured multiplayer support, and there weren’t many other gameplay details shared, but that’s what the Bethesda press conference is there for. The game becomes available for pre-order on 15 June.
Here’s the trailer, because hype… hype never changes…

I am so on the fence with this game. It looks like an RPG on the surface, but it isn’t, it’s a building simulator almost, but it still feels like a Fallout game, but it has online functionality – I don’t know what to make of this game. I’m confused!
