Since it’s release, Fallout: New Vegas has been plagued with a megaton of bugs that have plagued gamers and filled message boards.

A patch was released a short while back that gave gamers the hope that they could finally run spend their Fallout game time dealing with mutated radioactive bugs rather than software ones. Unfortunately, while the patch did sort a few issues, there were still a seemingly infinite amount of issues still left unresolved.

News has now been released via the official Fallout Facebook Page saying that a new patch is on its way, here’s what it had to say:

“We’ve wrapped up work on the Fallout: New Vegas patch and submitted it. Will let you know when it’s up on PS3, 360, and Steam.”

We can only hope that the new patch will finally put New Vegas into the sort of shape that most gamers expected when they dished out their cash for a brand new copy.

  1. I hope it comes out soon. I bought it but haven’t played it yet due to all the people getting corrupt save games.

Agreed. I played the game through on Bad Karma, and for some reason because of the evil decisions I made it wouldn’t let me continue my quests and in turn I couldn’t finish the game. Hopefully the patch fixes this.

I dunno hey, most of the bugs I’ve come across have turned out to be so funny that it’s starting to feel like features!

That’s why I took the ‘Wild wasteland’ perk. I’m not sure if it’s software bugs or part of the perk! :silly:

heh, same – there is a room that is bugging out at the moment that feels like something out of portal. items fall through the floor and respawn in the roof, so you get this sorta endless waterfall effect made up of pork n beans tin cans.

Good to know my decision to not buy Fallout: New Vegas is, to date, still validated.

Hopefully the string o’ patches will eventually make the game work okay, at which point I’ll think about buying it.

But then again, Bethesda’s been up to this kind of shit since before the days of widespread Internet. Daggerfall and its game-breakin’ bugs, anyone?

    Piss poor, really.
