Yes believe it or not we are in 2014 now and the next generation has hit us in our face in style and so the obvious question is what are you all looking forward to?

My personal number 1 is the upcoming Titanfall from Respawn studios, however I know Geoff’s top title is The Witcher 3 and I think Darryn is still waiting on Barbie Horse Diaries 2.

If you aren’t sure what titles are coming in 2014 then take a look at this monster list and then let us know in the comments below which one you are desperate for.

    Star Citizen

I am a big fan of wing commander and The darkening

have not been satisfied with anything since and I am hoping that it lives up to the hype. The release date has not been fixed yet and it may be only 2015

The Witcher 3, Watch Dogs, Thief, Dragon Age 3, Dark Souls 2, Project CARS, Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, Moebius, Murdered: Soul Suspect, Dying Light, The Crew, Child of Light & Spate. Curious about Shadow of Mordor, Broken Age and the new Mirror’s Edge. Even if only a few of these turn out well I’ll be happy. Honestly don’t remember a year when so many interesting games were due. My backlog hurts already.

Elite: Dangerous & Star Citizen – I cannot wait for either of these, though SC is only due for full release in 2015.

Watchdogs & The Division – The Division especially looks very interesting.

Destiny – this looks FAR more interesting than Titanfall, & I don’t care about your steeenking mechs.

Witcher 3, kinda…. They’re good games, no argument, but they never blew me away the way they did for others.

    GTA V
    DA 3
Whatever the new Mass Effect game is, assuming it releases this year.

We’ll get a release date for the new ME game sometime this year, but i doubt the actual game will be out.

remember how long they made us wait for ME3 after all the promo vids came out?
Theyv only just released a working Alpha to their devs for the holidays, so it will be a while befor the beta and we get an announcement trailer.

time is good, hopefully time means that we dont get the red/green/blue from ME3

True, these things do take time. I have to say I really didn’t mind the ending from 3 though, especially after they fleshed it out with the extended cut. It’s all part of the greater context of the ME IP, and not just Sheppards’ story in isolation, & I have no problem with a book in a trilogy, or season of a series, ending on a inconclusive / sad / down / cliffhanger / whatever note.

If they *don’t* satisfactorily contextualise it within the overall framework at some point, *then* I’m going to be unhappy about it.

    Tom Clancy: The Division

    And maybe the Witcher 3

Its going to be an expensive year
