One of the major battles that is expected at Leipzig this year is going to be the battle of the Football games.
PES vs FIFA
Last year it was pretty unanimous that FIFA 2008 killed PES online and along with the huge amount of licenced content it contains made it the overall winner.
However you can be sure that PES isn’t going to rest on its laurels and will make sure that the online ability will be up to scratch this time.
FIFA is still going to have all that licensed content so the decision is going to rest on offline gameplay and graphics.
FIFA has taken the first shots in the graphics war by ‘leaking’ some screenshots.
I have to say that the majority of these screenshots are a bit under whelming but some of the moments look very realistic.

Pro Evo has a ‘gameplay’ vid up on Kotaku – I’m too lazy to look for it, right now, I must say, once again, graphically it is rather underwhelming. Gameplay still looks untouchable, though.
