Fighter Within from Ubisoft will be Xbox One exclusive for Kinect

This is Fighters Uncaged, one of the worst games ever made I am not joking

Despite actually been a decent idea when it comes to gaming technology, the Kinect for Xbox 360 has been home to some of the worst games in human history, games so bad that its developers should be tried at the international war crimes court in the Hague. Fighters Uncaged is one such game that deserves to be lined up in front of a firing squad. And it looks like its getting a sequel.

Domain registrations for Fighter Within turned up last week, while Fusible grabbed a Google Cache snapshot that revealed more about the game. Developed by Ubisoft, Fighter Within is a next-gen title that is exclusive to the Xbox One and uses the new Kinect sensor.

There’s online multiplayer bundled with this game, as well power-ups and other tactical options according to the report. It’s worth mentioning that Ubisoft has been teasing a next-gen reveal for Gamescom this week, and Fighter Within could be that game. Here’s that full list of details from the cache snapshot:

Unleash your inner Fighter
Discover FIGHTER WITHIN, the next-gen game that provides you the excitement of a real fight, throwing you into the most immersive total-body combat experience ever made. Enter a world of sweat, timing and training thanks to kick-ass motion recognition. Brawling with your friends will never feel the same again.

Earn your bragging rights over your friends

True friends don’t pull their punches. Let off some steam and earn your bragging rights over your best mates in ultra-raw fighting sessions. New Kinect allows you to invite and defy your friends over a good fight right in your living room.

Unleash your inner fighter to beat your friends with your bare knuckles.

Discover FIGHTER WITHIN, the next-gen game that provides you the excitement of a real fight, throwing you into the most immersive total-body combat experience ever made.

Test your real fighting skills thanks to the next gen of motion recognition. The new Kinect technology arms FIGHTER WITHIN with realistic fighting moves using unprecedented 1 to 1 precision movement tracking.
Enter a brutal, physical and liberating world: New-gen jaw-dropping graphics, real-time wounds, sweat & facial impacts, extreme arenas environments, primal animations… The new XBOX ONE Kinect allows you to dive into a unique realistic experience and feel the fight. All you expect from a next gen fighting game is there.

Enter a world of sweat, timing and training. Brawling with your friends will never feel the same again.

Earn your bragging rights over your friends by proving your real fighting skills!

True friends don’t pull their punches: Let off some steam and earn your bragging rights over your best mates in ultra-raw fighting sessions. New Kinect’s power dramatically improves the multiplayer experience, allowing you to invite and defy your friends over a good fight right in your living room, or to compete online against the world to become the ultimate fighter.

Reveal your abilities: Kicks, punches, counters, throws, combos, special moves, everything you expect from a fighting game is there: Execute precise and amazing combos thanks to the new Kinect and use the huge diversity of gameplay to choose between core combat or special attacks to destroy your opponents.

Think first, hit after: Skills are not enough to win a match, superior fighting tactics will give you the upper hand. Use your surroundings to your advantage, collect totems and position them wisely in the arena to power up your attacks, choose the right moves and signature attacks that will undermine your rival and finish him off with a devastating final blow.

If this is a sequel to Fighters Uncaged, I’m hoping that it’s in name only. Fighters Uncaged is one of the worst damn games that I have ever played in this generation, and I still wake up some nights in a cold sweat from a nightmare of waggly arms and fighting stances that had no effect whatsoever.

Nah, the best way to pick your console is to not read reviews and comments. That is what i did.

Sometimes i just end up on comments sections trolling around. Don’t take my comments seriously.

I would never be able to play this. too unfit, but I can see the appeal, if Kinect 2.0 is really that powerful, this could be awesome

If Ubisoft improves on the engine they used for Power Up Heroes and The Avengers Kinect game, then this Fighter Within could be decent.

I mean, other than really young kids, who plays these games? And would you LET your hyperactive 9 year old play something like this in front of your 62″ LED Monitor? I wouldn’t. Which is why I’ve buried my minions up to their knees in quickset… 0-O

That’s actually cool, that it works your muscles. But I wonder what damage it can do? Like RSS? And I don’t mean the feed 🙂

I promise you I was out of it for like 3 days!! I had to take pain pills!! I bought that bloody Sports game and let me tell you I broke stuff in my body!!! I will probably never be the same!!
And that right there is the main reason why I will never buy a XBONE!! I will not be fooled into this Kinect crap ever again!!!

I only weigh 68kg and I am 1.72m tall, I am more than fit enough…. As I said I like to run, I do about 3-4km every day… So yeah I am slim and fit enough, but Kinect finds muscles that you never knew existed and brakes them!!!

Yeah, they shold throw ps4 eyedildo or wiimotes at that tv. Like the kids will play at 20cm distance from tv slamming their heads on it.

Or just teach them to sit on the couch like normal gamers???? That is why the manufacturers spend millions on the remotes, to make them perfect to just sit and enjoy!! Unless you are still under 20… The kids might like jumping up and down all the time but us older dudes grew up by sitting and playing games, that is our normal!!

You obviously don’t know kids very well… You could drop a child in the centre of an empty stadium, and they’d find a way to destroy the big screen, suspended 20 meters in the sky 😛 Nice fanboyism there though! trololo
