PC gaming magazine PC Zone has released what looks to be the first review of Crysis: Warhead hitting it with a super solid 92%.

This is a little bit of what they have to say:

With its budget price and improved multiplayer, there’s more than enough here to cheer nay-sayers.

One of the most striking things about Warhead is the way it shakes the template Crysis snowglobe and has its constituent parts drift and settle into surprising new patterns. In Crysis encounters with enemies were heavily cordoned off from each other, in Warhead anything goes.

It’s a frenzy of intelligent and original level design, far away from the Far Cry model that Crysis aped.”

Sounds like a blast and something to look forward to on PC. I played through Crysis earlier this year and really had a fantastic time, even if my Macbook Pro was huffing and puffing the whole way through but I actually hear that Warhead is going to be more spec friendly than the first one.

Crysis Warhead apparently has a South African ETA of Friday 19 September.
