The first God of War 3 review has been revealed by the Official Playstation Magazine (UK) and unsurprisingly the game is apparently very good.
Apparently it missed out on the perfect 10 because, in the words of the reviewer, Nathan Ditum
“The game is inches away from scoring 10/10, and it’s only the familiarity of the core gameplay that makes it feel less than the very, very best.â€
Which makes absolutely no sense to me at all, God of War 2 was released nearly a millennia ago (well it feels like it) so any familiarity of the core gameplay is welcome and shouldn’t really be a downside.
Nathan carries on to say
“But it’s definitely the biggest, and if this is the finale (and the corpes littering the stage by the end of the game suggest it might be), then God of War III gives PlayStation’s toughest hero the send-off he deservesâ€

And I have to totally disagree. LBP was seriously one of the most boring games out there… SP or MP. Bought it, played it… been sitting there collecting dust ever since.

I wouldn’t call LBP a 10/10 game, but I must say that I really love the game. It really is pure simple fun that both hardcore and casuals can enjoy. It’s just awesome

What is with this garfield approach to ps3 games, the god of war trailer was awesome especially when zeus man handles kratos and kratos was fighting gaia, i seriously think you guys should become an xbox only exclusive site. call it http://www.360lazygamer.co.za ill even pay the domain fees for 3 months

Opm UK’S reviews are mostly spot on , but I agree to some extent that they have actually under rated some of my favourite games ( pacific rift 7/10 as example ).

Which means I disagree with the downside stated by OPM.. which means I think the game should have possibly been rated higher…

I am just having a laugh at how a super hyped game is granted a 9/10 and folks still complain? Good lord, its only a game which already has TWO sequels. Besides, Dante (from DI) can whoop Kratos’ butt anytime. :whistle:

I find it quite amusing that everyone is arguing about the review of a game that, quite clearly, no one has played yet. However, God of War is by far my favourite franchise and I will be getting and thoroughly enjoying this title even if OPM gave it 0/10.
