Some images have made their way onto the net of the first GTA IV print review from The Official Xbox Magazine. By their verdict I think we can assume that they like it.

The review states that “It’s got a world you can believe in, a cast you care about and a script stuffed with brilliant moments” and concludes by saying that “This sets the standard for what you should expect from a truly next-gen game. You owe it to yourself to play it.”

I was a fan of all the previous GTA games and I simply cannot wait for this one to be released on the 29th. Im counting the seconds.

  1. Sounds like a great game, I just mite get it. you know, I am not a really big fan of 3rd person gameplay especially GTA San Andreas I never finsh that game TOo hard for me. that game had tons of cheats I wonder if GTA IV will have as much cheats as GTA San Andreas did.

Imagine IF they made this game as a third person gameplay and a proper FPS gameplay

I expect much more from this game than previous GTA’s I hope this game plays as good as it sounds!

I feel the same was a massive GTA fan, but 3 of them spoiled it for me, two PSP ones and San Andreas the game is just too massive and too much to do.

You are entitled to your own oppinions and I have no problem with them but please take more time typing your posts. It’s kinda hard to read 😉

I hate reviews like this, 10/10 sorry but that is utter rubbish.

I have no doubt that the game will be absolutely amazing, but 10/10 mean absolute perfection. No bugs at all, perfect visuals and sound, the greatest gaming experience possible with completely new and never been done before gameplay.

No game should ever get 10/10, or maybe the scale should be out of 1000 or something and games like this can get 980/1000 or something.

I disgree Banana and it’s a big problem I have with reviews in generally. ‘*.*’ is an utterly ridiculous way to grade something as subjective as food.

Every person looks for different things in a game. Some folks rate Half life as 90+, and I understand why, but for me it’s not even an 80.

Giving a game a 10 to me means its an awesome game whose flaws are completely ignorable in light of it’s brilliance.

There will never be a “perfect game” , but like Doobi says, there are games whose pro’s outweigh it’s cons so heavily that you will ignore any faults that you may discover. Subjectively seeming perfect to that specific user.
