Being a kid of the 90’s I am obviously a huge fan of the mutated heroes in a half shell and the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was a great party game in its time. But to say I’m not a little worried about the upcoming title would be a lie; will they be able to capture the spirit of the original series?
Well for the first time, that I’ve seen, we can start judging that for ourselves.
Check out this one minute video of turtle action and let us know what you think.
In my mind the action looks like a lot of fun but something just seems a little off about the turtle character model.
But hey he delivers a nutshot and that’s always good for a few laughs.
Also more importantly, if you could be a turtle which turtle would you be? I’ve always wanted to be Raphael. The dude’s got some serious anger issues and can deal out a whole lot of pain… also not so good with authority.

Looks very much like the Arkham games freeflow combat system.
That being said it’s something that would definitely work for a Turtles game. So it totally could be an awesome game dude!
Also, I’d be Leonardo. Dual wielding swords. That is all.

Man, the Toitles in the header image looks like something from a heroin induced nightmare. Like Teenage Mutant Ninja Hell Turtles.
And look at those swords Leonardo’s got there. Those aren’t katanas. If he attacks you with those, cause of death will be listed as blunt force trauma. Really, those swords will give Conan the Barbarian a hard on!

I was miff when Ben 10 lost his pupils, now he just looks vacant and weird, alot of cartoons have gone that route, not sure why.

I miss the old Konami side scrolling arcade TMNT game… I’m too scared to play it again though as it may ruin the memory!
