Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location released dead on time

I should’ve know better than to trust Scott Cawthon. Did I really believe that he would delay Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location because it wasn’t kid friendly enough?

No, a part of me always knew he was lying (that bastard). I did genuinely hope that he wasn’t though, because if he was being serious about the delay, Sister Location would not have launched last Friday, and I would not need to subject myself to its horror for at least a little while longer.

Sadly, that isn’t the reality. Sister Location launched dead on time, and it’s available for purchase on Steam right now at an all time low price of just R73.95 (it’s 15% off until October 14th).

Sister Location has been pretty well received thus far. At time of writing, there are 1515 pieces praising it, compared to just 158 negative.

I’m in no way excited to play it (not in the slightest), but I am genuinely curious to see how it fits into the overall lore of the franchise. Where does it sit time wise? Where is this new chain of restaurant? Who is this new character? And why was somebody dumb enough to take that late night technician job again?

I’ll have those answers soon I’m sure, along with a video of me actually playing the game. I’d give you a date when to expect it, but that really depends on when I decide to feel brave enough, which given my track record, is almost never. Don’t worry though, I won’t let you all down.
