Forza Horizon 3 has the “most diverse lineup yet” of cars

Confession: I love cars. Not driving them mind you, but the actual art of those vroom-vroom machines, and seeing how designers manage to shape the bodies of these vehicles into something unique and dead sexy. If I had the money and could stop blowing all of it on museum quality action figures, I’d easily buy an old vehicle or two, just to look at them for some form of odd catharsis every Friday.

The reality is, is that I’m more broke than Zimbabwe’s idea of democracy and thus I won’t be building a lakeside garage to house a replica of the 1977 Pontiac Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit anytime soon. Unless I win the Powerball that is. Yeeeeessss. Anyway, while a physical collection is purely beyond reach now that I realise that Hot Wheels cars don’t count, a digital selection isn’t.

Forza Horizon 3 drops soon, and it’s riding into two with 350 vehicles in tow. That’s a massive increase from the 200-odd vehicles that Forza Horizon 2 featured, although still a far cry from Forza Motorsport 6 and its roster of more than 450 cars.

“Today’s announcement features state-of-the-art supercars like the Lamborghini Centenario and the Ferrari La Ferrari, Forza community favourites like the 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II and the 2013 Subaru BRZ, and off-roading specialists like the 2016 Ariel Nomad and the 2015 Baldwin Motorsports #97 Monster Energy Trophy Truck,” the Forza Horizon 3 staff said in a blog post to show off some of the new vehicles.

Those last two off-roaders are making their debuts in Forza Horizon 3, alongside highly anticipated models like the 2015 Ford Falcon XR8 and the 2015 Polaris RZR XP 1000 EPS, and more. Not only is this the largest number of cars ever featured in a Forza Horizon game, it’s also our most diverse lineup yet!
