Just when you thought that the comments threads would get a little peace and quiet, Microsoft and Turn 10 go and reveal that Forza Motorsport 4 will be hitting the Xbox 360 at the end of 2011.

Personally, I think this is super exciting as the release of Gran Turismo 5 with its promises of constant updates are going to do well to consistently push Turn 10 to have to match what Polyphony are already doing. In the same light Polyphony will get the push to improve and maybe even look at releasing some seriously top notch DLC packs to keep Gran Turismo 5 in the lead.

Wanna make it that little bit more interesting? Forza 4 will support the Kinect and normal controller.

Gentlemen, start your engines. Sexy reveal trailer after the jump.
