Time for Assassin’s Creed to be in the spotlight. Assassin’s Creed 3 will be on PS Plus later this year, but the real tease here is seeing Assassin’s Creed IV work alongside the PS Vita remote play.

Edward Kenway already looks like a far more likeable protagonist than Connor from AC3, as we see him banter with a crewmate. Time for some naval combat, the one redeeming feature of AC3. And it looks as solid as ever. Looks like business as usual. Until we see some Vita action that is.

And AC 4 looks like the same game, but on a smaller screen as the exact same mission transfers easily to the Vita. It’s amazing. For owners of the two devices, it does look handy indeed. One lip-ripping threat later, a sneak look at a new level exclusive to PS3 and PS4 that stars Aveline, and that’s it for Assassin’s Creed 4.

It would be pretty cool if they finally found a use for the vita.
