MSEA2013

Pretty much all of the big third party publishers have nixed the idea of a press conference at Gamescom this year, save for EA – and we’re there right now to bring you our take on everything live, as it happens. We’ve got three people there; Me, Gavin, and the very bloody loud and horribly clumsy Grant Hinds there to cover everything. It’s about to kick off.

Watch it here:

And chat about it here:

That is actually Michael Buffer you’re talking about but they are brothers. Bruce only does UFC.

I’ll admit, EA’s UFC game seems like it might be the real deal. I enjoyed the THQ versions but this seems gritty, a bit like Fight Night really, and that gets a thumbs up from me.

Free Fifa 14 with Xbone preorders sound like such a desperate move from MS.

It would also be a desperate move. It would be like if Sony decided to have free copies of Madden with every PS4 preorder, to capture some US sales. It’s stupid.

You’re lying! Lets wait till after the Sony conference, I’m sure you’ll be all hyped about some Sony announcement that would off course had been so stupid had MS done it! LOL! No worries mate, just remember when you need to trash the competition to make your product appear superior, that smells of desperation! 😉

Perhaps, but ironically, it’ll still be cheaper to just buy a PS4 and Fifa 14 on release in Europe, then preordering an xbone for a free digital copy of Fifa 14.

            lol!

Titanfall is looking sweet. More like the bastard child of Quake/Unreal Tournament/Heavy Gear I’ve always wanted.

Wow TitanFall looks pretty damn awesome. Im really over CODs same-old same-old, despite the COD gameplay mechanics still being solid. This seems like a great way to get some great fun mechanics again, but without playing the same damn game again.

Very good pull for Xbox One to be honest, looks great.

Next gen, I’m sucking gladly on the teat of Mother Sony. Are you getting a bone Nick? It’s a hard-sell for me, although I’m still keen on Dead Rising 3. That might be actually push me to owning both consoles again.

I put money aside for a new console, so a new console is what I am buying! So with the split in release dates Im almost definitely getting both. Gonna get the PS4 at launch, then will also get the Xbox when it launches later on. Im super stoked at the prospects of both consoles right now

I’m still undecided whether I’m getting BF4 for PS4 or PS3. I guess it all depends on whether PS4 launches in late October in South Africa, and whether the console purchase K’Oed my credit card.
