Time to KLAP HARD BOET with EA Sports UFC.
We’ve got a proper ring announcer Bruce Buffer on stage, giving the audience a full UFC experience as he announces EA’s Andrew Wilson and UFC’s Garry Cook appear, and talk about how awesome man on man sweaty violence is.
Wilson confirms that the EA UFC game will be out in “Spring 2014”. Cook takes over, talking about the reach of the sport. “It is a sport with unparalleled excitement and athleticism”, Wilson adds once Cook is done.
The dev team comes from all manner of sports games, from FIFA and NHL, to SSX and Fight Night. The game is nine months away currently and we’re seeing some pre-alpha footage. The fighters look good, with muscles flexing and deforming based on how much force they’re being attacked with.
Fighters also move around the ring with "a real sense of momentum", instead of sliding around. Klap hom Danie.
