Looks like the Fables franchise will be alive and kicking on the Xbox One generation.

Fable Legends will be the latest game from Lionhead Studios, that will have an online focus and co-op questing in a four-player co-op setting. Hero or villain, the choice is yours, as the game is being described as the most beautiful Fable game ever made.

Fable Legends will also have some form of Smart Glass functionality.

  1. Fable meets Borderlands. Sounds interesting enough.

Damn it… Why online only? Why force us all online?! I get that it’s ‘the future’ for most people, but that doesn’t make it anymore appealing to me… Suddenly, I know how those sheep in the fields feel.

P.S. I love the Fable franchise, with all it’s flaws. Looking forward to hearing more about this game.

Right with you on this one. My friends still like sitting together playing 4 player split screen games. Unfortunately such games are becoming rarer. They are being made with 4 player and co-op options but only online. Surely adding split screen options aren’t too difficult.

This sounds awesome! Online should be embraced, it only adds to the replay ability and thus value! ????
