Ori

Not every game on show has to be big budget action that cross platforms. Sometimes, even a simple idea can still be the best possible execution of a heartfelt experience. And that is what Ori and the Blind Forest is all about.

Thomas Mahler game director appears on stage to show off a new segment of the game, where Ori is in a desperate race to avoid being swallowed up by a rising torrent of water, as the cute little guy rockets and ricochets past obstacles and enemies, avoiding thornier terrain and using portals to escape.

Ori and the blind forest isn’t just a  gorgeous game, it’s one that packs plenty of emotion into the visuals. And it does so, magnificently. Mark my words, there will be no dry eyes left in the house, by the time you finish this game which wears its heart on its sleeve.
