Need-for-Speed

Need For Speed games have always had a simple goal. Be fast, and finish in first place. The return of Need For Speed this year however is throwing a few more wrinkles of driving fast and furious. First off, live action scenes are back in the game, but here’s a neat twist:

The scenes are integrated with the Frostbite engine, which means that your custom car creation will be seen in this little movies. It’s a nice touch.

The big hook of the game however, is that players will be working to become a “master of style”. That goal involves impressing car world icons such as Ken Block and Risky Devil. Five icons, who each represent a different facet to the world of driving from daredevil stunts to pure speed and gorgeous car customisation.

And the game is looking sexy! Even though it stars a ton of cliches and will most likely result in you painting go-faster stripes on your thumbs, Need For Speed does look sexy indeed. Here’s the latest trailer for the game:

Game looks seriously awesome stuff. The online thing isnt a big deal. I read somewhere its not permanently online based. Single player is offline.

“UPDATE: The Facebook message was since taken down, and we were
told by PR that it was factually incorrect. The new Need for Speed will
indeed require an online internet connection.”

I see. That sucks ass really. Lets hope they change it for single player and by some miracle include LAN and split screen. Id prefer playing with the local guys than the internationals cause damn… Its just not fun.

Who knows, maybe they might make it offline when NFS 2016 releases?

            Just read this one http://www.vg247.com/2015/07/31/a-need-for-speed-game-in-2016-ea-is-not-sure/
They not sure whether a 2016 one will be made. I think it all boils down to how well this game sells. They need cockpit view (Since you also modifying your car) and the things i mentioned earlier on.
