I haven’t watched any of the other Gametrailers awards video’s yet but I had to post up this one as I completely disagree with their answer.
I agree with their nominations for best graphics being Metal Gear Solid 4, Gears of War 2, Prince of Persia, Far Cry 2 and LittleBigPlanet but I just can’t agree with the winner.
Not to ruin the surprise to much but I was really rooting for Prince of Persia to win as their art style was by far the most exciting this year and while MGS4 was photo realistic and Gears was gritty and epic I didn’t think either was worthy of winning.
LBP was cute but nothing close to best graphics and if Far Cry 2 didn’t have that awesome fire it would never have made this list.
Our awards are coming in the next two weeks and if I have my way then Prince of Persia will be walking away with the graphics title, but I am still to see if the rest of the team agree…
