Major Nelson has posted about the fact that Gears of War 2 sold over 2 million titles in it’s first weekend but he has also added in some information about the Live stats.
Over the first weekend 1.5 million played Gears of War 2 on Live for 15 million hours. which equates to 10 hours per person over the weekend, now that’s some serious gaming.
These players also unlocked 19 million Gears achievements which kind of makes my 9900 look a little sad.
Gears 2 also broke the previous Halo 3 record of the amount of concurrent Live players.
