Gears of War 2 to be announced at GDC 2008?

Taking a look at the 2008 floor plan for GDC it is quite easy to spot who has taken the most space. Since we have no new consoles being released this year we can only imagine that Microsoft has something else up its sleeve.

Also the proximity to the EPIC stand makes us start thinking that they may well be giving us our first taste of Gears of War 2 at this event.

The stand is a whopping 4,800 square feet which dwarfs the other two console manufacturers this year.

So do you think they are exhibiting a game or just some new funky technology?

they had to make the space that big for security reason’s as they’re going to be announcing that GOW2 won’t have Multiplayer at all ever…. so they needed to employee body guards and attack dogs for the stand 🙂

I love the way Microsoft continually throw the middle finger at everyone and do everything in excess. Hopefully they are going to be announcing something does the size of their stand justice.

    Burns that’s 100%

I wonder if they’re going to announce the “XNA Marketplace” at GDC? It’d make sense.
