Go to war with this week’s Humble Bundle

You know where cheap games go once they’re purchased? Straight into every gamer’s backlog, along with all the other thousands of unplayed titles that were likely snapped up on some ludicrous sale. I think we’re all suckers for discounted titles, especially when it comes to the likes of Humble Bundle. A handful of games for anything over a dollar – who can say no? The latest offering from Humble is a must buy, especially if you’re a fan of hammers and heroes… and war.

This week’s bundle is packed to the brim with Relic games; namely Warhammer and Company of Heroes titles. Buying them under normal circumstances would cost around $235, but you can have them all for only $15!

Here’s a breakdown of what you’d have to spend to unlock each tier of strategic warfare gaming:

Relish in this Relic of a bundle! Get your war on with an army of titles from Relic Entertainment. Name your price for Company of Heroes 2 – The Western Front Armies: Oberkommando West, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Game of the Year Edition,Company of Heroes Complete Edition, Company of Heroes 2 Soundtrack, plus bonus digital downloads including Company of Heroes 2 art, The Art of Space Marine book (PDF), and Dawn of War 1 and 2 art.

If you pay more than the average price, you’ll also get Company of Heroes 2, Company of Heroes 2 – The Western Front Armies: US Forces, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Retribution, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. If you pay $15 or more, you’ll receive all of the above plus Company of Heroes 2 – Ardennes Assault. Take your fandom one step further if you pay $30 or more to receive the Relic T-Shirt plus all of the above.

I’ve only briefly dabbled with both Warhammer and Company of Heroes. They’re not really my type of game, but if they’re to your taste, then this bundle is definitely not to be missed!

Remember, you can choose exactly how you with to split the proceeds of your purchase; between Sega (who own Relic), Humble themselves, or to charity. The charities for this bundle are; Arts Umbrella, War Child UK, SpecialEffect, and WDC.

And just like that, you have a full weekend of gaming planned (if you didn’t already). Will you be buying this bundle?

  1. have they fixed the games for windows live problem for DoW2 on steam yet?
i wasnt able to play at all last time i tried. the removal of games for windows live broke the game.

you’re a dota player though, so DoW2 should be quite fun for you though, not your typical RTS.

I’m not sure, but if you pay more than the paltry $5 average then you get DoW2: Retribution, which is native to Steamworks (never had GFWL) and is the game you should be playing multiplayer anyway.

That bundle is the bestest. WHY MUST THE BESTEST BUNDLES ALWAYS CONSIST OF GAMES I ALREADY OWN!?

Excluding CoH2, don’t own or want that.

Isn’t that a problem you have with most Humble Bundles?

It’s not the size of the library that counts, but how you use it!

POLICE SQUAD! That was one of the best TV series’ of all time!! The reason it got cancelled? Because it was a series that you had to watch to understand…

Oh look, strategy games… I’ll pass, even though I love DoW and have the original CoH Anthology.
