Eurogamer has put up a preview of God of War III and while the details are obviously still a little sketchy they do post some interesting news about the size and scale of the upcoming PS3 blockbuster.
Once you read through the preview you will start to realise that the biggest selling point of GoW3 is going to be Gore and Violence… while all the previous versions have been violent it seems like Kratos is going to step it up a notch and add the gore that only a truly next-gen system can handle.
For example
“When you slice open a Centaur, its body actually opens up and the guts will spill out. These levels of detail help make the combat experience more realisticâ€
Then they go into details of the scale of the game and it truly does sound pretty impressive, in one scene you (Kratos) are standing on Gaia’s shoulder while she takes a stroll up Mt Olympus and then while she moves and flexes your character will be seen moving and rebalancing himself to truly immerse you in the experience.
They have also added a whole heap of new enemies, bosses and fighting moves.
