The big driving game news for 2011 was always going to be Forza 4’s release and it’s with absolutely no surprise that it’s biggest competitor, GT5, was going to be making some noise around it’s release to try and steal it’s thunder.
That noise is starting already with a tweet from the GT5 big boss, Kazunori Yamauchi.
In his tweet he states
GT fans, thanks for waiting… The GT5 Spec 2.0 update is coming the 3rd week of October, with DLC following a week later.
And that’s all we get, but what we do know from past experience is that any Spec update to a title is generally pretty huge and obviously the only thing we can really expect from DLC would be more cars and tracks which is never a terrible thing.
Though to be fair I don’t think many people are complaining about a lack of cars in GT5 so hopefully it’s more tracks (places) than cars.
