GT5Nurburgring

All of you who’re waiting for Polyphony Digital’s latest entry in to their seminal simulator series have even more to be eager about.

The developer has confirmed, via it’s official site confirms that the PlayStation 3 exclusive "real driving simulator" will be getting just about all the Nürburgring you can handle.

While this is hardly a surprise, indeed expected considering their appearance in previous games in the series, knowing that all three of the famous circuit’s courses – the Grand Prix course, the Nordschleife, and the 24 Hours course – will be available in HD is cause for excitement.

Our regular readers would know that Gran Turismo 5 – the real driving simulator – will be the epitome of gaming, and not just in its genre. When it releases on schedule exactly as was planned from the start, it will be signalled by the heavens opening, angels singing and all GT5 fans being basked in glorious golden sunlight. The Blu-ray – filled to capacity with digital awesome – will descend auroral, aureate stairs and kiss you gently on the forehead, causing you to spontaneously orgasm. Twice.

In a brilliant flash of light, all those who prefer the vastly inferior Forza 3 (a well known fact, verified by means of independent research) will turn to dust, which is exactly what they deserve, the heathens.

I think the problem is the ‘truth’ you are talking is your own truth. You can’t think everyone agrees with what you think.

And if it makes you feel better I was the one who vote you up. It was an awesome article.

Check this news out source is from gtplanet!

New features of the GT5 “The Real Driving Simulator”, include a tyre grip penalty which temporarily reduces grip if you go off the track and onto the grass or into the gravel. It takes around three to four corners to retain full grip again. Drivers will also feel like they are in the hot seat when they crash into a guard rail and sparks fly

seriously the crow is getting a huge ass and is coming for you. You KNOW WHO U ARE!

Seriously forza 3 is nothing but poo bum

Yeah Lans, I remember back in the Le Mans of ’87 where they incorporated this penalty. Everytime a driver cut a corner a marshall would run onto the track and shoot a high powered jet of Durex Lubricant at the offenders car, destroying his chances of gaining traction for a few corners.

Man you have to love the realism going into racing games, the things that those kids do with them computer systems these days.

actually you do lose tons of grip if you go on grass and dirt etc, ive seen it in many races, especially formula one, where the car is at low speed or if it goes on the grass, they commentators do frequently mention the lap will be ruined and the dirt ruins the tires for a lap or too etc, so how you can ridicule this feature is beyond me.
if you were really not biased why are you ridiculing or attacking gt5? day by day its becoming more obvious that you are a forza troll

Because this wasn’t added for realism, it was added as an in-game penalty system.

I’m not making fun of GT5, I am making fun of you.

How exactly do you come in here calling people baised when you say things like “Seriously forza 3 is nothing but poo bum” – Is it fine for you to be ridiculously biased, but not ok for everyone else?

          LOL :silly:

whether it was added as a penalty system is not relevant this feature does add realism to the game so your grasping at very thin straws , so ridiculing me for making a valid point is ridiculous

Fox 1 what lies are you spewing are you telling me that by reducing tire temperature your cars speed can go from 200km an hour to 50km an hour in less than 10 m because that what happens in forza 2, the grass is acts more like a sandtrap and is not realistic at all so please dont lie fox

Have you ever heard the term “beached it” in racing?

Oh and the sand act as the sandtrap… the grass is slippery and sliding hence why racing circuits are made of tar and not grass :ermm:

            Dear Fox1
so your saying that its fine for the grass in forza 2 to act as a sand trap? yep, you deserve forza coz you clearly don’t know what you talking about.

I think they should take out the ‘pause’ option. That way, when you’re in an endurance race and you need a pee you have to pit. It would be a lot more realistic I feel.
