With no new information around the GT5 release date being released we are left with only our shattered dreams and sneakily released video footage.

There isn’t much I can do about the shattered dreams but if you need your GT5 video fix then take a look at the GT5 test track after the jump.

I was very disappointed to see how dodgy the grass and buildings around the track look though, with us being so close to a release I would have expected more than that.

I expected a little more… Seems more tacked on than I thought it would be.

I dunno, why you judging such a bad quality cam recording?
Your futile attempts to sabotage gt5 will come to nothing
im pretty annoyed at the broken promise by sony, about the release date, but im not gonna waiver and start to punish a game i know ill love, even if you guys are disappointing with the track visuals, ive seen enough with my own eyes to know this game is gonna be amazing

sure tracks like daytona, top gear will look bland and etc, but i dunno what you guys are expecting, the fact that the track is even in the game is reason enough to buy this game

Even if the game looks exactly like prologue but with more features i will still be happy.

Gavin this game will be a million seller and enjoyed by millions regardless of your jaded opinions

Dont worry lans, I have a distinct feeling with GT5 the phrase “Those Who Laugh Last Laugh The Loudest” will apply.

Have a look at gtplanet.net for proper videos and info.

Very cool, and one of the main reasons I want GT5 is because they put the Top Gear test track in it. I tried to recreated that track in ModNation Racers, but couldn’t do it. ^_^

And a note to no one in particular, because someone doesn’t like what you like, it doesn’t mean that they think it’s crap.

As far as the video goes, I’m somewhat impressed. It does look rather flat, but I’m sure we’re missing a LOT of detail in that video. But they got some of the track details PERFECT, such as the long straightaway on the track where they pass the tire wall (Stig always tells the reasonably priced car drivers to go full out there)… all the writing and mess on the ground was identical. Really amazing! I so cannot wait to finally drive that track! Even more than the Nurburgring, which is quite a long drive. ^_~ (I have that in Forza… Match it with a Bugatti Veyron and it’s amazing)

I actually chose this track to race when I played GT5 at E3 and what I will say is that this track looked specifically flat and bland, but I don’t think its a good representation of what all the other tracks look like as its just an airfield with grass and tar.

    Oh and lans…
