GT5 video with wind effects and head tracking

GT5

According to a video hosted up on GTPlanet we may be seeing a brand new feature in the yet to be released GT5… wind physics.

If you watch the video after the break you at around 1:20 you will see the cars jump the kerb and a puff of dust pop up and get whisked away by the phantom wind.

IF Polyphony digital has included wind physics in the game it would be yet another bizarre inclusion in the technically brilliant yet horribly delayed GT5.

Also in the video you can get an understanding of how the head tracking worked for me at E3. Something I wasn’t enamoured about personally, I like the idea but not the execution.

excuse me but i do not see head tracking in this video.
the wind thing is exaggerated, look at the trees, i dont see them blowing.
oh, and how many times do u think u can bump the back of the corvette like that and not a single back light breaks.

If you watch the video again you will see the front window shaking from the left to the right quite often.. that’s the head tracking

The wind on the sand is overly exaggerated just to show the wind physics is there :silly:
