As if the entire world was holding it’s breath in anticipation of the news, Microsoft has now officially confirmed that the GTA IV DLC will be releasing in Autumn (Spring here in SA) and will then obviously be ready before Christmas.
Microsoft are also happy to boast that the DLC is exclusive to the Xbox 360, just in case any PS3 owners missed it the first time around. Details of the DLC have still not been released and even though Rockstar doesn’t have a habit of disappointing us, GTA IV’s popularity has died down quite a bit as of late so the DLC will be a great way to get people to put their discs back in.
Whether or not those same people are interested enough to jump back into the world of GTA one more time is another story. On a side note, I’m entirely convinced that this DLC will remain an Xbox 360 exclusive, so watch out for announcements about PS3 DLC shortly after. It may never come, but we can only hope.
